Testosterone is released from the testes and causes increased body hair, especially on the 'secondary sexual sites' such as chest and pubic regions, not decreased body hair. It also causes a lowering of the voice, increased musculature, general increase in interest in sex, and the enlargement of the penis and testicles at puberty.
